chin powder
QUICK TIP: If your baby has a double chin (like mine does!), putting powder under there after his bath helps keep him from getting a rash under there. Don't learn the hard way!
Raisins and fruit snacks are evil to dentists. They hate them and like to make you feel like a bad Mom if you feed them to your children. NONE of my children have ever had a cavitity, so I must be doing something ok, but nonetheless we rid our house of these snacks, clearly from the dark world :) The hygenist did suggest prunes as an alternative. BLAH!! BUT, I bought some with "Cherry Essence" (I know sounds creepy) they are REALLY good! My kids love them, no more sticky teeth and boy are we all regular :)
Great tip, Heather! We are not quite there yet (eating sticky foods like that) but a tasty snack that helps with regularity is a winner. I'll be sure to remember this one. :)
Also, a little Fiber Powder, just a wee little bit, in a constipated toddlers milk, yogurt, oatmeal, whatever, and he'll be "free" in no time. (Thankfully not explosivly free!) Poor Ethan he struggles with hard poopies all the time, so we've become experts on fiber.
I was thinking, even though right now it's just you and I answering, maybe we could make a post about things we are "experts" in. I'm not an expert in much, but I can say, I'm an expert on club feet, projectile vomiting, constipation...hmmm what else is in my repetoire (sp?)....
I'm sure we are all Mommy experts in something, post away ladies!!
